Canon 100mm macro arrived yesterday. Trust it to be a windy day, even my blooms didnt want to keep still, let alone the critters.
Think this is a Hover, was so thrilled with this & I thought it was going to be a piece of cake!
Alas the others that followed are sitting nicely in the recycle bin, lol!
Dont think CT & the like need worry about the new competition but, I think Ive got the bug, ooh, I made a funny! :coat

oooh, damn fine for a first attempt I think Gloria, very nice. Its a honey bee I think, not a hover...could be wrong though as it is a bit skinny.


Lovely shot, good clarity and focus, well done. :)

Nice shot gloria, will expect to see some close-up nail shots soon too!

I'm still saving for my macro lens :(

Yup tis a bee Gloria. Frankly I'm totally gobsmacked that you did so well on your first undergrowth adventure. :clap:

Chuckin loads of duff shots in the bin is par for the course with macro shooting. :shrug:

Thanks for the feedback, just need to to find away to make all my blooms sit still so I can go play some more now.
