best Teleconverter

whats the best Teleconverter to go with Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO HSM lens and a Nikon D200 Camera, any thoughts and advice welcome.

I have just bought the Kenko 1.4 Pro 300 to fit my 80 - 400mm AF VR f/4.5-5.6D and D200 ... :p

First real outing today and first impressions are it is a great bit of kit ... no loss of functionality :thumbs: They do a x2 as well and equivalent less expensive units too ... :p

Similar Nikon units would not fit with this lens would you believe ... loss of functionality ... esp. AF ... :thinking:

My Sigma 1.4x tc is pretty good.

First choice would be a Sigma unit .... should be matched better with their own glass. I've got a Kenko which works ok with my Nikon stuff. There will always be a trade-off whichever marque you use. :(
