Hey guys and girls,

On the side of my D80 it has a slot that says "DC-in" - I presume this is for a charger/power cable?

Ive had a hunt around on google and not found anything about the DC-in or a cable or anything like that.. anyone know if it is a power in port? Where can I get a cable to plug into it and also will I be able to shoot whilst its plugged in? which would be beneficial for a studio shoot.

Regards, James

Don't quote me on this, but I think it's for a power cable as you say, for when you are locking up mirror for cleaning, for when viewing pic on the tele so the battery does not drain, for time delayed photography where the battery would run out.

...that's because you should be looking for a Nikon EH-5 AC adaptor. Here's one on Amazon : http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000BVE19/ref=nosim/coffeeuk14174-21
