Only one photo may be submitted per member, which may not be changed after submission.
Each photo must be maximum 800x800 pixels, and 160k in size. Entries larger than this may be either resized or rejected, at the discretion of the staff.

Entries to be emailed to competition@talkphotography.co.uk, before the closing date / time.
The closing date and time, is 23:59 on the last day of each month. Entries recieved after this will be rejected.

Photos may include a simple border, but must have no naming, title, or visual copyright watermark applied, so as to keep up the anonymous nature of the competition. However, please specify your username when emailing your entry.

The aim of the competition is to improve your photography, so it is preferred if you submit a photo taken specifically for the competition. However, this is not a must, therefore photographs of any age are perfectly acceptable.

Once the round has closed, all entries will appear in a gallery for everyone to browse.
A poll will be created in the Competition Forum, inviting everyone to vote for their favourite 3 photos

Temporary Rule Change
How to vote : Please send the numbers of your favourite 3 photos by Private Message to the member of staff running the competition (This will be made clear in each months thread)

On the 7th of the month, voting will end and the results announced.
The entry with the most votes will become the winner, and recieve as a prize, a print of their winning shot, completely free, courtesy of Talk Photography, and printed by professional printers CoLab.

All scores will then be added to a running tally for the year, kept in a thread in the Competition Forum.

At the end of the year, the member with the most votes, will be crowned the TP Photographer of the Year!, and will recieve a prize yet to be decided on.

Finally, good luck to ALL entrants, may you enjoy the competition, and the Talk Photography Forums.

Kind Regards

The Talk Photography Staff

PS. Just incase they need to intervene, Staff decisions are final. :)
