Effects of x-ray scanning on camera bodies

Quick one - what are the effects of x-ray scanning on camera bodies and CF cards?

I only ask as we have just moved offices and due to the government nature of my job we have x-ray scanners in the building. Every time we enter our bags get scanned.

Now working in London, I take my camera absolutely everywhere. If daily x-ray scanning is likely to be harmful then I'd rather leave the thing at home :'(

Should be no problem at all - thats one of the things about digital, you dont need to worry about the film in the camera getting zapped.

Both camera and memory should be unaffected:)

aye, it's been proven in various tests that x rays don't affect your gear.

Clumsy security staff might be a concern though :eek:
