Good natural shot Marianne ... agree with the comment about highlight though ... a tad too much over-done ... imo ...

I used to have great fun avoiding my dads best efforts to capture me on film!

Thanks...I've come to the conclusion that's I'm not so good at taking male portaits either, I tend to make them look a bit namby pamby:)
Maybe you should get some masculine props like beer and the football and the sports cars and the ladies with scanty dressing and the gazumbas.......

ha ha...beer is no problem but the other stuff hmmm...some of that he's a bit shy about...he's happier in front of a computer!
Before he's done his hair? There's hardly any there to do! :p

yes but its usually sticking up in a reckless fashion lol
Loads of character in this portrait Marianne, I really like the brightness of the highlights (odd for me as I'm not much of a high key fan).
Really great image
yes but its usually sticking up in a reckless fashion lol
 Kids these days....It's come to something when the 'just got out of bed' look has to be worked at..lol
Mind you, I was the same (Still am to a degree, although I'm mellowing in my old age). I dread to think what it's going to be like when my kids are grown up.
I really like it, is a really natural look, it doesnt look posed or forced.
