I own one, it's a very good lens. Ultimately you'd have to decide for yourself just how good it is. You have to think about what and how you shoot before you consider it.

I also own this lens and can tell you its the best value lens that Canon make.

The lens has a very quick AF and the images are just stunning from this lens too..:thumbs:

I tried one in the shop again my Canon 28-135mm on the 20D and the 1D. I went home, took a close look at the photos and was rather impressed with sharpness. I then went back to the shop and I now own one :)

Great decision, You will not regret your purchase, This is a great lens as quoted above, Tack sharp and ultra fast AF.:)
