Very nice Matty. No.1 and No.4 for me - really looks like he's sizing you up for lunch there.
I would crop a bit more of the wall out on No.4 though.
thanks for commenting!
got a crop of #4 in the album..

got another 200 to sort out yet..
You liked the Lions then :)
Look forward to the rest of the shots.
What do you think of Colchester zoo? not too far from me really.
Gorgeous shots of the lions Matty. So majestic. I was at Colechester zoo about 3 weeks ago. I was with a huge group of people though so we didn't get to see everything :( Didn't bother taking my camera either as I don't have a tele zoom (yet). Twycross will be the first place I'll be heading with my tele zoom when I eventually get it :)
its not bad, but the glass is a bit crap on a few of the enclosures, and you cant get to the lemurs or some of the other animals that easily
Lions were playing ball, the tigers were hiding, so i made hay with the lions instead!
thanks Kate..
got a shot of a lion doing a #2, not so majestic then i can tell ya!
Wow. Awsome shots

Great big pussycat shots there :)
Lovely!
Post all 200...your admin, you'll get away with it.
The colours on the tiger are a little washed out :D
#1 and #3 and the last one do it for me. Their all great shots though Matty, I would be very proud to have taken those. Looks like you had a good day out at the zoo. Enjoy those holidays!
jewel :)
Nice shots Matty! The big cats always fascinate me... almost as much as those awesome Silverback Gorillas, but I don't know a zoo which has one now!
*oooh, look at his face*
Brilliant cos they made me smile!
Especially the cat face (first 4) I always find cats expressions a constant source of amusment! So haughty!
Fantastic lion shots....really great.
Lion shots are nicely exposed and clear.

Great set matty, love the eye contact in the first few, very clear. Hes damn hugh eh and with war wounds.
Theirs nowt wrong with that lens is their...in the right hands obviously.
thanks for the comments everyone, i will get round to the rest at some point today(seeing as the weather sucks)
CT you can see silverbacks at howletts zoo, near canterbury..
these shots look dark on my laptop, i think i need to configure it better...
Cracking set of shots Matty that Lion does look very proud of himself.
Love number 8, the background colour is really nice (the lioness one), reminds me loads of my girl cats expressions (holier than thou & all that) Really amazing set overall, puts my big cat images to shame.
Very nicely done
#7 is 300mm, #2 is 300mm...just having dinner so will check the others after...
