I want one.
I am a bit intruiged by it, though. Or rather, how it does well with UV photography.
UV photography works in much the same way as IR - digital cameras are inherently UV sensitive (not something camera manufacturers want, so the hot filter over the sensor tries to block a lot of this, as it does with IR)... So all you need to do UV photography is a deep purple filter, just like you need a deep red filter for IR.
The problem arises when you realise that most lenses these days cut out most UV light before it ever reaches the sensor or film - so even with a deep purple filter it's nigh on impossible to do UV photography, unless you have a lens which doesn't cut out UV. A subsidiary of Nikon makes such lenses, but they're fearfully expensive.
Soooo... can you use this camera for UV photography without special lenses? I doubt it - it's not really mentioned in the article, but only time will tell.
