OK as discussed in this thread Oli RC & I decided to have a challenge where we were taking pictures of the same downhill mountain bike race and we would let YOU decide who has taken the best pic.

It's all a bit of fun but we both love our bikes and want to improve our togging so I agreed with Oliver that this was a good way to get some unbiased critique on our images.

By all means add you comments but please tell us what would be your FIRST, SECOND and THIRD choice.

Mods! Any chance of a poll being set up on this thread? Pretty please!

Well speaking as a photographer I like number 2

Speaking as a downhill mountain biker - I still like number 2, but feel that if he'd just dropped his right foot a little more he would have really nailed that berm and kept more speed through the turn!
 
1st: 4 (for the speed and dynamism, even though it's not as sharp as 2 it's captures DH racing more IMHO)

2nd: 1 (for the colour and exposure as well as the action capture)

3rd: 6 (for the eye contact and for getting the #1 plate shot. Has the rider asked you for a copy yet? ;)

Did you put in 3 each? Are we allowed to try and guess who shot what?
 
Crazy, I was one of the two that voted for 4. What does that say about me? :LOL: I felt it was arty farty, and almost abstract, I still really like it.
