Right guys assuming I can make it you have to decide on what cake you would like me to make I will make 2 for you as you all seem a greedy lot

Seriously, I'm having a bit of trouble with my photography at the moment. A bit stupid of me given the equipment I've got. But I really have lost my confidence in understanding how the camera works (Nikon D300) and I'm so flustered by it that even reading the manuals/field guides etc don't help me at all.

I don't want to blindly copy everybody else present but I do feel that I am going to need some help over the course of the day - I need that EUREKA moment instead of just the EEEEK bit of the word.

On the plus side - I am an expert when it comes to eating cake so I might be of use to somebody over the course of the day.

Excuse me if I don't know one Nikon button from the next but can speak Canon!

We will all give you any help we need (well maybe not Cobra as he will be busy feeding the Wolves

), so don't be afraid to ask we are a nice bunch

honest, even us Canonites will help, if we can work out the buttons

And I have decided to add 2 more lists to the OP, one for Briony to say who can have Cake
