PL filters - testing

looking around the web for C-PL filters

came across "this" Comparison Test from lenstip.com

they have also done a UV Comparison Test

the most £££ ain't the best always.....

That's quite interesting......it's not a case, then, of "you get what you pay for...." As I have always thought.....

But its a pity they're not largely the makes that are easily available in the UK.

if you mean c-pl ---then Kenko, the ubiquitous Hoya, B+W, Marumi are in the UK

I've decided to go with Marumi based on their test - ducks and waits for the "but........"

Clifton Cameras sell the 72mm Marumi DHG for £53.60 deliv and is one of the thinnest so hopefully will be ok at the widest on my new ordered 17-70 Sigma - if the RMSD can EVER find the farm .....
