How do I get a Flickr signature?

Just been asked this by someone on here, so thought it would be useful to post as a tutorial:

This did take a bit of figuring out when I did mine (just the other day, so its still fresh in my head!), let me try and take you through it:

Go here:
http://bighugelabs.com/profile.php

Enter your flickr email address or screen name into the box.
Choose the options you want (I left it alone)
Click Preview
Copy the code it generates

You now need to edit the code

Now, the code you have is HTML, and for the forums you need BB code..

Go here:http://www.seabreezecomputers.com/html2bbcode/
Paste the code in, click convert, then copy the code

Load Talk Photography
Click MY TP (on the bar at the top)
Click edit signature
Paste...

Preview.. Done!!!

Oooh fun. I've had a go too, but it takes quite a while to load for me it seems. Perhaps just a quick glitch.

Ahh, seems to be working now, and much faster. Hmm, Lot of golf shots there, might have to make this more random

I now also understand that to combat spammers you have to type in a certain number of characters for the Sig to show, excuse me while I babble just to see if this works.

Grim weather up here today, flat, grey skies, not the best...but the dog enjoyed the walk all the same.

Testing, Ive been wondering how to do this for a while

I dont suppose anyone knows of any simple methods of making banners for other websites like this flickr one?

Would be nice to stick a banner for my blog somewhere on my flickr profile.

NOTE: replace these brakets () with []

Insert a link:
(URL="<insert web address here>")<Change this bit next>(/URL)

In the bit where it says <change this bit next>, Delete anything thats writen there, then click add picture button. It should now look like this:
(URL="<Insert Web Address Here>")(IMG)<Insert Picture URL Here>(/IMG)(/URL)

You will now have the picture in your signagure, which when clicked links to what ever address you put in I.E. My GD Photography pic in my signature linking to my flickr set page.

Does it stick at what you have or does the picture/contacts/slider go up as you add more?

When i follow the instructions up to preview i get the photos and my flickr name and when i save the sttings it it stips working

Your signature only works once per page and you have already had that (post #23)

Also there is a minimum requirement of "characters" before it will appear anyway.
