Cold Sunday a couple of weeks ago

All the film was out of date but no idea by how much.

Some really nice photo's they look really well exposed and I really like the compositions I think of the set it's that 3rd one that I like the most for it's simplicity/minimalism

I love the two shots from the Silk Museum, where was that? Tonal range is wondeful in them.

Nice pier pic, shame about the footprint right at the bottom. Decent set all round.

Up in Macclesfield in Cheshire was once the massive centre for silk weaving. The place is just as it was abondoned in 1984.

Oh my, I'd love to take a trip up there with my 35mm! Thanks. The narrow DOF adds something to them.

Abandoned silk museum looks like a great place to shoot. How do people find these places!

Macc is a great place to photograph, I started my career there and would love to go back. If you do go, make sure you do the Joy Division tour well

Oh &!?&/. it, lets have a little lookie at how to get thereeeee. Need to shoot a range of film for my portfolio & it'd be a decent opportunity to capture something a little different to the everyday shots.

NOTE: Although it has been 'abandoned' it is part of a museum called Paradise Mill

http://www.manchester2002-uk.com/his...csilkmill.html

I don't think you could spend a day in there as the tours are only an hour (which is a long as we had) and I don't think the museum is open all day.

There are guided tours in around the place but if your using film then make sure your using 40ISO plus as the light in there is not great. The film shots were all on 400ISO last time I went and used digi (new camera) I was shooting 400 or 800.

Have a look at http://500px.com/knikki for more images I think I may stripped EXIF data out of them most are dital but there are acouple more film shots too.
