I thought I knew quite a lot, but now I know that there's a lot I don't know! These are a good effort, but I think you need to try and get a bit more focus to grab the attention of the viewer. If you are interested in macro, you could look into doing stacking, which a lot of photographers do. What is that weird fruit? I was in Tesco this afternoon trying to find different unusual products, and I had in my mind what you have shot but couldn't recall the name of it.
