I've finally just had the chance to get out and have a go at some wirewool spinning. After some careful coaxing I managed to get a friend to come and be my guinea pig. So, here are the 3 I liked out of the set we took, I think the last one is my favourite as we got lucky with the fireworks - a nearby display had just started and it just happened to be in the frame without the need to recompose

I'm just looking at getting a couple of decent quality torches and some coloured gels so I can try to incorporate some light painting into the next attempt.
