Tiger in the Snow Dartmoor Zoo

Hi everyone, just thought i would share this photo of one of the Tigers at Dartmoor Zoo taken on 24th December 2010. This was back when i had a 400 5.6 and a Canon 50d. Its probably the only shot i have taken which i liked! lol

Its a great place to visit by the way especially for us photographers

Thanks for all the comments, it is a great place for photography, no fences in the way of the Tigers, Cheetah's Bears

Fantastic shot.

The only thing I will mention, for me it would be perfect if you could see the pupils in the eyes but still a great shot.

If you're ever down this way, you'll have to let me drag you there!

It really is a great place for photography - the cats are in the main kept in by deep moats rather than fences so no shooting through.

There was a meet there a couple of years ago - we arrived a bit late but still go in on the TP group price but didn't find the TP group. Well, we may have but there were 2 groups of photographers there that day - one lot in full came (I kid you not!) and another group in more normal clothing!

OK, here I am! Now, could somebody please tell me where the heck I'm supposed to be?

Oh yeah! A great place for Tigers to be kept. They've got a whole 60yd. x 40yd. compound to themselves. Beats having the entire jungle to roam around in any time.
