Day 64 - Star Tonight

Well more like this evening as I couldn't stay until it was really dark as I needed to get home, but since I missed the sunset I decided to wait for some stars to come out, it was actually quite cool because some mist started to roll in over the lights below given them a really cool glow

I'll probably re-process this one later as not totally happy with it at the moment

This is one that needs to be seen big to appreciate. Thankfully Flickr to the rescue whne you click the image

Great work I love how it starts with the dark starry sky to the left, moving towards the bright light of the town on the right. Very nice indeed

I do like that one Matt, although i think I'd have been inclined to lose that bush/tree to the right - take a chain saw next time

Like that one Matt as Tim says, flikr to the rescue, it looks great large as there is so much more detail in there. You've even made light polution look good here.

That's fair enough I think if I'd waited another hour for the stars to really show themselves it would look a lot better

Day 65 - Juicy

I was thinking about what I wanted to do for my POTD earlier and it came down to go out and shoot a rather naff landscape, as the light was awful today, or do something around the house, so this is a simple orange photo

I just want to lick the juice up it does look very tasty

I really like the vibrant colours in the oranges and you are right, they look very juicy! Love the composition and the way in which both kind of make up one slice!
