Manchester with the F3

A mooch round Manchester yesterday with a recently acquired Nikon F3 - and Ilford XP2.

Oy, I really like all three of these images. Great panning to capure the motorbike, a real sense of speed , nice range of tones and simple but strong composition.

I also like the study of the DSLR and Cell Phone togs in number three. A nice whimsical feel suppoterd by the tight framing and nice use of DoF.

For me though it is number two that is the best. aAn excellent character study, great composition and whatever lens you used it renders super bokeh.

An excellent set all round!

I am a great fan of the F3 and I use one for much of my personal photography, you have certainly put this film Nikon to good use!

That XP2 looks really nice. It is one film I have never used.

It can be a bit wishy washy - esp with Jessops 1hr processing. These needed a slight tickle in Lightroom to inject a bit of punch.
