Before you look, I don't know if I chose the right subjects or not, and I really don't know how to test a lens properly. Saying that, I was asked to take a few comparison shots, so here they are, 5 shots, before and after sharpening...

Oh, maybe a tripod should have been used. I can do more later this evening if needed...

Impressive tools aren't they!

I've just taken a batch of property interior shots with the D3 & 14-24 today. A real pleasure to use.

The lens doesn't half make me nervous though, that huge dome of perfect glass, unprotectable by filter and just waiting for clumsy old me to knock it into something!

Hi Gary - what sharpening method do you use? Is it as simple as the standard sharpen in CS2/3 etc?

Well these were done at work, so had to use Adobe Fireworks. Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen. Just the bog standard default sharpen.
