Yes
Yeah ok, its the same one that Chris shot a couple of weeks ago but its all good practice.

I have built a light specifically for light painting cars and wanted to try it out so we took this plaything out for a couple of hours last night. Some shots are ambient, some flash, and some wanded (new word for light painting, lol)

Weather and wind was tremendous, made for an interesting time bracing the camera still.

Great shots, love number 3.

Awesome photos, how have you achieved these photos? How have you used the lighting?

#5 is a bit dull compared to the rest... because the others are bloody lovely!

#2 is my fave, but the others would each standup on their own IMHO.

Good work!

Now tell us how the lighting works :D

Cheers guys, 1 & 2 was shot with flash, full power on the side and half on the front just out of shot. Number 3 was light painted and the remainder was ambient.

The light painting thing is basically a steel cricket bat with four holes in the blade, in each of the holes is a 50w 12v halogen bulb rigged up to a car battery.

Here is an unedited (bar a resize) lightwand shot.

Cheers for the feedback guys
