Thought I'd bump this to the top to keep it fresh in peoples minds, as I seem to have failed in having it made a sticky!

Finally managed to get out.....here's my effort :D

Holy ***** HCK.
That's on hell of a shot.
I'm too embarrassed to enter my sparra shot now.

Was going to wait and see what else I could get, but decided I like this one so am biting the bullet and putting it in.

Good luck all.

I've got a fair few, but I'm going to go with this one for now... Shot through double glazing as they don't stay if I move to quick, let alone think about opening a door or window

As much as I liked my original BT entry, I've changing it for this more recent, Goldie pair..

HCK, it's a superb shot and doesn't look washed out to me

Ray nice shot, but it is 'birds on a feeder' and having checked a couple of times I do not see a feeder in your photo :)

Ray photoshop one in :D

I know this is supposed to be a fun competition - but if I'm reading the exif data right, there are a couple of pics on here that were taken before the start date!

I haven't got time to keep checking each pic, so if anyone has made a mistake please sort it.

Thanks.

Don't know if this counts as a feeder? it's where we feed the birds and this starling enjoys the meal worms.

How difficult can this be?

I've had rain, cats, dogs and squirrels scaring the birds away. Then, to cap it all, a Sparrowhawk perched on the end of my lens. I'm giving up, having some wine and trying again tomorrow!

Still no luck -

Never thought I'd be posting something taken with my mobile.

My attempt. Not as sharp as everyone else seems to manage but it is a heavy crop. I like the nuthatch and the fact you can see the seed in its bill. I just need a bigger zoom I think!!
