I took this a few months back and I'm considering getting it put on canvas for a christmas present. I think I need to try and lose the light part of the background on the left first though. Any other thoughts as to where it needs work?

WOW lovely shot. I quite like the light part in the background, gives the whole thing a bit of depth. I think the green in the bottom right detracts more, but that is probably just me. Those roses look like they are made of velvet. I am sure that would look superb in canvas

that is a bit nice Can't make up my mind if a tight crop adds or detracts from it.

Works very well Paul ... liking it ...

Before printing I would lose the tat marks on the petal right of frame on your subject by cloning perhaps ... :shrug:

Otherwise it is really good ... possibly just a touch too much above the subject for me ... imo ...
