Somewhere in the last month or so, my website has completely disappeared from Google
Despite a few concerns, last December I had moved over to a flash website from bludomain but the page ranking remained the same until recently, I had made updates to the keyword list within my bludomain account and noticed that a week or so later, the google ranking and info on my site had also been updated.
Now my photography pages have completely vanished. If it weren't for my blog and facebook pages, I wouldn't be there at all
I update at least 2-3 times a month adding more event dates and making changes, so it's not like the site becomes idle warranting a drop in ranking, the site has disappeared and is no where to be seen based on searches such as 'Tomas Whitehouse' and 'Tomas Whitehouse Photography'. Previously both returned a no 1 google ranking position.
I am aware that google has issues with ranking flash sites but after a quick chat with our right honourable Hacker (Colin Greenlees), who also has a website from the same company.
Colin's ranking vanished but then returned without explanation
Both of Col's sites are at first and second position on a search of 'Greenlees Photography' so for me this relaly eliminates the flash indexing being the problem.
One thought that I had is that I bought the domain name 'www.tomaswhitehouse.com' from fasthosts some 18 months ago and I link my site accordingly.
Both the bludomain account and fashosts allow allow meta data and keyword tags in the configuration menu's, these were identical.
I did read somewhere that google does not the repitition of keywords so as of last night, I made them different.
Could this have been the problem?
Any help or trouble shooting would be gratefully recieved although I would appreciate the 'don't have flash' or 'I hate flash' comments, it's working for a large amount of others so I know it's me or a set up issue at least.
All the best & cheers for lookin'.
Tomas
