In a review mood !!!!
As I've managed to damage my right harm carrying my camera...honest...so I found this in Maplin:-

I find this easy to steady the camera and still move around doing still and panning shots.
They only issue is that if you carry it round your neck having your camera and lens hanging down, if you hit the release button, your camera and lens goes flying to the ground (lucky it fell on grass so no damage!).
I was using my 1DMk2/70-200mm f2.8 IS L Lens with this support, whether it improved my shots or not I don't know as I didn't post process or print them!
After using it for a full day (8 hrs photoing at Donnington) my left bicep did hurt but my tennis elbow injury on my right didn't so think it's worth using again.
