Well Jo after your reply I googled it and it makes sense to me (y) We live and learn ;)
 
Jerry they are usually mixed with Canary's :) So it may be a Goldfinch x Canary, but I think there is a bit of Greenfinch in there as well.

Thanks all for your input, I definitely have not messed about in Photoshop, this is a straight shot of the mutant finch mule bird. I wouldn't know how to nor be bothered to photoshop any of my images. Get it right in the camera.
I agree that this is an abberant finch.
