I saw this Kingfisher with i'ts beak wide open and moving i'ts head backwards and forwards. I locked the camera onto it and started shooting,and this pellet appeared and fell into the water.

More birds than you imagine actually dump indigestible matter by popping pellets in this way... :shrug: ... even our own inimitable little Robins do it frequently with insect husks and the like...


Still it is not often caught on camera so graphically...
