Adult Water Rail

Hi John

something doesn't look quite right with this:thinking:, was it a heavy crop?:shrug:. The exposure is good but the image looks a little soft. The composition is good though i would crop a little from the LHS.
 
It's a very nice composition John, but it lacks contrast and the legs look sort of plastic - almost like an illustration - heavy pp?
 
As mentioned John the composition looks good but to me the whole image is oof. It is almost as if you were panning that shot with too slow a shutter. Maybe it was an opportune shot and you fired the shutter slightly before you brought the camera to rest :shrug:
