no really, the customer may always be right
but he may also be completely bonkers :bonk:

here's the results of this morning labours;

first the cakes
first row is cake mix
second row is cake
third row is cake revealing all :nuts:

then (mandatory) test tubes
showing the effect of pH level on effectivity of colouring
(same amount of colour in each tube; pH increases left to right
(just nod, dear)

I like the test tube colours. Cakes are fun ..look like something you would see big on the wall of a coffee/tea shop !

I wonder why the very pink mix doesn't make a pink cake !

apparently (quotes mad scientist) the cooking process changes the pH value so affects the colour (see test tubes)

and just to confirm the status of the scientist
(apart from using a Nikon)
he wondered why he was having trouble - turns out he'd forgotten to install a memory card in the camera! :rules:
