I had just finished shooting at an athletics match at Loughborough University and was on my way back to the car when I saw this Hockey match being played, I spent about 15 minutes shooting, but this is a lot faster sport than I had thought.

I tried some earlier in the year and ended with nothing useable, very fast indeed. Like the 2nd one, nice expressions.

Not my sport of preference, but nice shots. I prefer the first, as it is a bit neater [IMO], and I'm probably showing my ignorance here, but would it look better if it was cropped a bit tighter?

Good crisp clean shots though.

thanks for the comments, Lost & SnapHappy.

I must admit I thought about cropping tighter in the 1st one, but decided to leave some foreground in. I will try a tighter crop and see what it looks like.
