Went for a walk today and attempted to do some water shots. Not really very happy with my results but I was using a monopod and I dont have any ND filters.
Does anyone have any top tips or settings for these type of shots?
I use a polarising filter for these types of shots it acts like a ND but also you can vary the reflections reduction giving quite stunning results but yup ND;s are a must that or use Shutter priority and slow it till you get blow out then reduce the exposure but that way you lose some detail and the focus is all in one olace with a polariser I can shoot at f22 for up to three seconds without blowout which helps smooth the water
