Haha, nice! I'm a mechanical engineer on heavy plant - looks like I'll be taking my camera to work this week and taking a few shots of the big toys I get to play with This makes up for the fact I didn't get last weeks done because I couldn't find any enthusiasm for the subject

OK . . . who picked this one for the hat???

Absolutely no idea at the moment, but could be interesting . . . read challenging.
My resolution this week is to go for a straight photo with minimal PP - 4 out of the last 7 weeks have had quite a bit of photoshoppery, and I don't want to get too dependent on it . . . but I'm a bit stuck for ideas right now !

Depending where you are in South Wales, how about a trip to the steel foundrys in Cardiff. I've done work there in the past and they have all manor of mechanical gubbins that you can see from the roads etc. I recon they would look good lit up at night too, pity its so far away from here.
