The annual Canalway Cavalcade in London's Little Venice takes place over the 3 day May Bank Holiday weekend. Little Venice is the name given to the area where the Grand Union and Regent's canal meet. People do live on a number of narrow boats all year round which makes the area look more like Amsterdam than Venice in my eyes, but I did not get to vote on the name. During the 3 day Cavalcade the numbers of boats increase and to add to the festive atmosphere there are stalls selling all sorts of stuff as well as live music.
Thankfully there was some sunshine to help with a colourful display on behalf of the narrow boat owners.
