S'Estany Gran

To be honest, I'm not keen on the horizon bisecting the tree right under the canopy. I'd have been tempted to get down low and shoot upwards to get underneath the canopy and "lift" it into the sky a little - might have shown a little more of the cloud-line as well that way. On the upside it's nicely exposed, and you've done well to keep some texture and definition in the tree-canopy.

I'm glad that you posted the second shot.

The first one felt too central in the frame for me and as Mark said the angle wasn't quite working. I much prefer the second one, but ideally I would have liked the best of both worlds. It would have been nice to have got that extra bit of height and some more sky above the tree into it as you've managed in shot no.1 - maybe if you'd just stepped back a little further to give yourself some more space around the tree.
