just bought my d80 today ... finally
cant wait to get out using it proper, boy so many buttons way more complicated than the film slr i bought 20 yrs ago

take no notice of that there canon lot

have fun learning to drive it ,complicicated though isnt it?

You may be suprised how quickly you get used to "all those buttons". I remember when I first picked up a DSLR I was overwealmed by the number of buttons but htey all make logical sense now.

What made you go for the D80 in the end?

Also what lens(es) did you get?

Nice, I was going to go for the D80 but didn't have enough money so got an 400D instead
