Trip to Wales
From my visit last week.
Rented a Canon EF-S 10-22mm for the trip, and all these shots bar #1 are taken with it...belter of a lens! But I know it'd be a very rare usage if I did buy one... ![]() Anyway! 1 ![]() IMG_1315 by Mark_Jennings, on Flickr 2 ![]() IMG_1198 by Mark_Jennings, on Flickr 3 ![]() IMG_1432 by Mark_Jennings, on Flickr 4 ![]() IMG_1398 by Mark_Jennings, on Flickr 5 ![]() IMG_1182 by Mark_Jennings, on Flickr 6 ![]() IMG_1253 by Mark_Jennings, on Flickr

James - I was debating it before posting, but I actually quite like the bird there...personal preference I guess

Shot 5 and six are my favorites from the set. Shot 5 is spoilt slightly from the roof? in the foreground when there was a dramatic panoramic landscape to capture.

Shot 1 ( Caernarfon??) - the shadows are a bit too dark and I'd have been tempted to make more of the interesting sky than the foreground Shot 2 - doesn't do much for me - sorry ![]() Shot 3 & 4 are nice - might be tempted to crop a bit more off the left of shot 4 to get rid of the branches 5&6 are the best 2, echo Rorys comments - 6 would maybe have been even better if taken slightly further down the path where you could have captured both lakes fully Just my thoughts anyway Simon

All taken around Snowdonia, specifically near Llanberis and Caernarfon
Got a couple more images to add, too ![]() IMG_1103 by Mark_Jennings, on Flickr ![]() IMG_1530 by Mark_Jennings, on Flickr |
