Heron pike/Lake Windermere

Hi All,

We had a trip to the lakes yesterday and did a walk up Heron Pike, I don't really do much landscape photography so i would be interested in any input from you lot.

Nice images Matt, I must get back there this year.

For me the last one is a superb composition.

I have to say the size of these on here don't do them justice. I've been over on Flickr and am impressed. #1 of your set on here is my favourite. Nice use of the rock in the foreground to add to the composition.

My favorite is the "end of days" one. Whilst I don't like the theme on a metaphysical level (who does) it has a certain simplicity which I think makes it the best one of the lot.
