Hi there,

I am interested in some constructive feedback on a couple of the photos I took on Sunday at Dungeness in Kent.

All photos were taken with a Canon 40D and Sigma 17-70mm DC Macro lens with a UV filter attached.

OK, I am ready so let rip !

1. Lonely Hut:

Which makes the better photo, (a) the wider shot or the (b) close-up shot of this hut

(a) Wider

(b) Closer

2. Nuclear Lighthouse

Comments welcomed on this photo of the Nuclear power station and lighthouse

3. Black & White

Also, I played around with a couple in Photoshop.....views?

hut number 1 for me I like the space its been given, lots to look at.

of the lighthouse, the B&W one. nice pics

Oh I love it down at Dungie.
I like your images, especially the first with the track leading into the shot.
They seem to lack a little contrast though, but that's something easily tweaked

Theres a disused train station just round the corner there that makes for a decent photo.

These I'm afraid don't hold much interest for me, sorry.

Any technical improvements I can make ?

I can fix the contrast in Photoshop but what could I have done when taking the photo to improve it ?
