Day 07/356.... Armful of colour....

So today is day 7.... First week complete. which after day 2 i didn't think i would, or at least i had doubts!....

It's been another grey miserable day here and no time for a shot until this evening so whilst my girl was doing her Arty stuff at the table i made full use of her.....

That's a lot of bracelets! Cool image, I like the numerous colours of the bangles (and the nail varnish), I like the pink tones and that sketch in the background makes it awesome!

Thank you, i quite liked the fact the rest of the image is bright but relatively plain so the bright bangles stood out... and yes just a hint of nail varnish peeking in

Day 08/356......Left out.....

So here we are guys day 8... the start of our 2nd week woohoo although peeps do seem to like reminding that there is still 51 left!......

Today was a complete stress free day, i think probably because the rat is back at school so if i can't find anything at home it's easy to pop out.......

Oh and i'm being greedy today i am posting 2 because i just can't decide... wrong maybe? but i never do as i'm told anyway so why break a habit...

I rarely use texture and grain, i have always struggled with it, i like clean crisp photos.... but i see others and really like them... also i decided to venture over to PS again as i had been using LR mainly..... i was pleased i remember more than i thought although i still only really know minimal....

So here we have my 2 texture grainy thingy style shots.........

Catching up! Love yesterdays shot and of today's images I like the first one. I've never been keen on the canvas texture, but like the slight sepia tone and the composition.

The bracelet shot is great - especially with the colour of those against the more muted background.....and I love the multi-coloured nail varnish going on there!

Today's are both great photos but, personally, I prefer the composition of the first, so it looks like there may be some dissension over today's

I couldn't decide because i'm not 100% on editing style so new for me, i rather enjoyed the grittiness of the first but i did like the dof and comp in the 2nd.... maybe i should have done 2 like 1 lol.....

I'm not sure that the processing works on the second version but it's a very nice photo if you look past the processing, I think I'd take it down the same lines as the processing in the first and then that would make a brilliant photo

I had edited the 2nd one first but then decided to play with the first, i'm not comfortable with grit and grain, but i think i agree with you.... i much prefer the composition in the second, its my kinda shot... but i did enjoy messing with the grain of the first....... Quite interesting hearing different veiws tho

Thanks Matt

Some cracking shots so far but I especially like the umbrella image. Stunning - well, they are all pretty stunning - but the umbrella is more stunning than the rest - if you see what I mean.

Cheers!!
