That's a lovely photo of the sheep, Sarah, that little one looks quite curious about you!

They were quite curious, but I was talking to them and making whistling noises and sheep noises. Any passers by would have had me sectioned
Going to photograph some more next week as lady who works with hubby has some, so can go in the field with them.

Wow, lucky you!

I would much rather spend time in a field of sheep than a field of cows. Cows are very sinister

oh that's gorgeous! Were you in the field with them? I was looking for something to shoot the other day and found a great field but it had sheep at one end and, for some reason, I'm scared they're going to chase and bite me!

No, they were right next to the gate, they won't chase you unless you get too close to the lambs & won't bite. Although when my son was very small I convinced him they turned feral when they had lambs

I know, but I always feel guilty about loving looking at them in the spring and then cheering when new seasons lamb comes into the shops

5th March 2013

Future Swings

Where racing tyres go to shuffle their mortal coil. Popped in to visit my brother Frazer & Dad today & shot this in their yard at Jedi Racing Cars.

Great image. I think you have given it a bit of a depressing title though. Should have gone with "Future Swings" - sounds much more optimistic

Sorry Sarah but this one's not doing much for me - the mono works well though - maybe another visit and a close up shot of one of the more interesting tread patterns might be worth considering later on ?

Sheep! I love photographing sheep - they usually look at me (while I baaa at them) and then run away as soon as I hold the camera up! This is a great shot as you got them both looking at you.

I think the processing really works on the tyres shots, adds to the 'abandoned' feel.

No problem Jim, we can't all like all the shots, but glad the mono works for you. I'm thinking of doing a project down here, so might try a tread close up for you sometime

Thanks Lynn, these seemed to quite like my baa noises & whistles, so I was lucky. Want to go back when they are a bit more active.
