I like detail shots like these. Quite like the "vintage" processing.

Something about it doesn't look quite square to me though, although when I check out a horizontal line it looks OK and the same with a vertical. Must be some sort of optical illusion going on, or I need new glasses

Might be due to the odd shape of the stones, it had me scratching my head a bit.

I really like the vintage processing (pm me tips pls?!?!?) I agree it is a bit off kilter feels like you perhaps need to transpose the bottom right corner ie pull it out a bit to adjust the perspective if that makes sense! Great shot and superbly processed though, really like it!

I'm loving that I love the detail over the top of the door way and I think it works particularly well as a B&W, I don't think that the vintage one works paricularly well

7th January 2013

Monday morning blues

Well monday morning and back into the office thought I'd do a self portrait with my mug of morning coffee that occasionally wakes me up enough to drive home.

Not done a self portrait before, so this is a first for me & taken on my little panasonic handbag camera that I've taken to taking everywhere with me.

Hi,

Cracking start to your 365 challenge. The water drop/leaf stands out for me and the humour of today's image.

Cheers

8th January 2013

Spring is nearly here

Phew, no drama today, didn't forget anything, but was at home so that made it easier! Anyway photographed a jug of daffodils today to remind myself that spring is just round the corner. In fact walking back to my car after work, I even saw a snowdrop peeping out through the grass.
