Inspired by Ricardodaforce's stunning images of the area.
I found myself in the area recently and had to give it a try.
It was made all the more difficult by the fact that I have never tried night shooting before.
Anyhow, they weren't the total disaster I was expecting,
and its something that I will definitely try again at some point.

Thanks for looking.

The day shoot

Certainly not a disaster by any means! I'm really like the compositions and love the colours of the last shot. I assume they were handheld though?

Thanks I really appreciate you dropping by and the encouragement (y)

Any particular reason that they look hand held?
They were all shot at different settings as I was "playing around"
20secs @ f/8 was the average but obviously some were longer / smaller
shorter / wider.
And of course, all with a tri-pod.

I thought I could see a little bit of motion induced blur, but it is probably the screen on my laptop. (y)

I'm aching to go back. On some still nights the water is just like a mirror. The last times I went it wasn't :(

There was a little bit of a breeze at times, the water unfortunately wasn't
like a mirror, at all :(

My tripod isn't the heaviest in the world,
Its carbon-fibre, so maybe you are right.
