Karl Taylor photography dvds

Yeah I've seen a couple, they are ok, he tends to give more insight into the practicalities rather than the theory which is good

They're OK but there are better I think. In my opinion as said above, he does tend to go into the practicalities rather than the theory. But what frustrated me was, I purchased his DSLR beginner DVD (forgot the exact name) and it kept saying "if you want to learn more about this buy this DVD..." etc so that irritated me a bit but hey it's marketing :).

Have a look at:

Although not a DVD, this is a fantastic site and such a low price:

I talked to the guy and he said that he has got an upcoming DVD planned.

The above 2 are what I use and I've learnt a lot and found their teaching styles to be fantastic.

Do look around though!

I remember watching about 5 minutes of one his youtube videos before I had to switch off - I think it was his insistence on pointing out all his expensive gear at the start, which put me off. As if spending thousands of pounds on gear was the key to taking great landscape photos. :shake:

I prefer Mike Browne and a few others on youtube (which are free too)

Has anybody watched any of his tutorials? I've just borrowed some from a friend , they are a worthwhile watch in my opinion.

Anyone else?

Bought four of them a couple of months ago.

A well worth watch in my opinion.
