Thanks.

Exposure was a pain on Saturday, going from cloud to blue sky, bright sun to hazy as the planes moved across the sky.

Still makes you work with constant exposure adjustments.

WHOA - great shots! No. 6 is killer - really clear and detailed image.

Sorry for digging this out of the ancient past - doing a search for 70-300mm IS lenses, came across this post and just had to comment (y)

You mentioned in this post that these shots were taken with a 70-300mm IS lens - was that the Canon one?

Nope Nikon 70-300 VR

Fantastic no 3 is my fav
Its almost moving across my screen !

That Vulcan is something else glad to see there's still one flying.

Not for much longer it would seem though - they are back to begging for a million quid before the end of the month to keep it flying....

Some good shots here. It's a shame that #3 isn't sharper - is it a Mirage III?
I thought the Typhoon and some of the Vulcan pics were smashing.

Thanks for posting them

Cheers

Mark

They had a stand at Autosport/Piston Heads show. Taff, the engineer team leader, was there, and very chatty.

Hopefully they will make it, or those efforts to date will have been utterly wasted, which would be a crying shame.:bang:

Go to www.tvoc.com, and donate. NOW!

Sadly, that is going to be a bit of a broken record with them.... I honestly couldn't believe it when I saw them explain that their cash flow model didn't actually cover their ongoing expenses with the appearance fees....

There's a very good reason why that's (currently) the only flying warbird of its era/type in private hands....
