I don't know what species this is (Any clues ?). I was trying something out, as I don't have a macro lens, I used the shortest focus distance on the 55-250 at 250mm handheld. I'm not sure if this counts as Macro or closeup. Just some sharpening and a little blurring along the leaves top left as they were at the same focal point as the butterfly.

1/160 f7.1 ISO800 @250mm

Very nice shot of a Gatekeeper butterfly, male I think, because of the extra brown markings in the middle of the front wings.
