A shot from my walk with John today of the Watermans Cottage Anglezarke Chorley Lancashire to day we stood in the middle of the reservoir as its nearly dry.

Dave the reservoir must be very low to shoot that at 27mm.

A nice image and good refection in the water, just a pity the water is not a little cleaner and did not have the scum on it.

PS. It's the Waterman's Cottage at Anglezarke
 
yeh it was really low, tried to disguise the scum stuff with the toned version, didnt work, you can still see it, just thought it would be good to get that low angle from where it should be deep water

oops Anglezarke back to the drawing board :bonk: :LOL:

I still prefer the toned version may be if the water was at the right level the coloured version would look a lot better nice shot well took.(y)
 

Brilliant, well framed and great reflection

I agree with the Pirate. I think the second one works better, seems in keeping with the character of the building.

Im swaying to the toned version it just seems to fit the character of the place, usually you have to shoot this from way across the reservoir, not from stood in the middle so I just had to try it
