Thanks Phil for the feedback. I really liked the break in the clouds, but a lot of the sunset was behind the crest of hill so out of view. Being in norfolk, that is a surprising sentence to be using! :)

I feel like this is one of those magic pictures, which I could never make out.

Sorry I thought I'd posted into Rural and Scenic! Is it possible to change where it is posted?

A lonely dead tree in a field in Norfolk. This was a chance capture - I driving home and saw the sunset below the dark clouds, which looked great. I knew of this old tree so took a quick detour on the chance that it might make a nice image. This was the result.

I agree it looks fake ... and it wouldn't be much of a shot with the birds eyes bulging and a huge hand in view!

    Football at Huddersfield?

It could just be the volume of people trying use the same access points at the same time. During a game it is likely to be a heavy load and so this might not be unique to Huddersfield?

Very atmospheric. The disturbance in the water suits the image well given the angry sky.

Neil, yes I live locally. To get there, turn off the Wroxham Road onto Hall Road (towards St. Benets Abbey) and drive to the t-junction at the bottom of the road. Turn right at the t-junction (this is onto Cold Harbour Road) and follow it to the end of the road. It gets *very* bumpy, and...

Cheers for the suggestion Steve ... I plan to go back in day light have a proper look around. The side of the river I was on is in the back end of nowhere and it is all marshland. I wasn't confident enough to venture off the path in the darkness. There is a sort of picnic area (there is a...
