RPS distinctions - my journey - first stop - the 'LRPS' - GOT IT :)

I was thinking about this and did have a sniff around the website etc heard though that landscapers don't often do well (probably the repetition thing!) seems that if your a specialist in one area then maybe it's not the route to go down.

    Photography magazine of choice?

Outdoor Photography is the best of the bunch for my taste and genre. No cheating / photoshop articles (runs for cover!!) Good balance of articles from Wildlife to macro. Still can't get in the damn thing though!!

Advice for aspiring photographers - from Magnum photographers.

I would agree very much!! It seems if you can talk the talk your in. Personally I prefer to concentrate on the quality of my work, but in turn this does means I get less enquiries.

    What is your photographic style??

I seem to be drawn to strong compositional elements such as lines and strong subjects/focal points. As a landscaper this seems to be they way I'm going. I do have a play with long exposure now and then, but I don't see the 10 stopper coming out the bag that often now I must say. Brad

From a £350 HP laptop to a Macbook Pro ... worth it?

I love my Mac! Stunning build quality and OS is supreme to W7 in every way! People are put off by the price but I can't fault mine! I have a Mac book pro 13 by the way. I must admit though, maybe spend the money on camera kit and glass first though.

Magazine asks for high res image

Nice shot! Did you consider an ad maybe in the mag in place of payment? It's free advertising for you in effect especially as you could be reaching a target market for potential sales of prints etc

Whats the hardest type of photography?

Trying to set up as a landscape tog in Dorset!! And trying to get fresh images with a new perspective (this bits actually fun and a good challenge!) then trying to get people interested in buying your work!!!

Hi all, Can anyone recommend a sensor cleaning pen, I have a few persistent dust spots cropping up on my D90. Any cleaning tips would also be much appreciated. Thanks in advance Brad

    Now THAT'S customer service!

Great service that is. Bought my mac from pc world, they make a point of saying as soon as it's bought they have no responsibility for it in terms of after care etc Good really as I wouldn't dream of taking it to them anyway!!

When to realise that enough is enough!

As has been said, if you enjoy your photography, that is what counts, being there in amongst what you love. I love landscapes as i love being out and about. I have been feeling a little negative lately due to not getting a lot of interest in my work from mags etc but I remind myself I do it...
