I got one in the Jessops sale a while back. Think it was £20. It is just a decent basic tripod. The pan head is quite nice and was worth the £20 alone. If it had been full price I would have looked elsewhere.
So I think we are all agreed
Bytes are usually used to measure capacity and bits are usually used to measure speed.
There are 8 bits per byte therefore a MB is 8 times a Mb. The confusion comes when people use bytes for speeds. The simple capitilization of the b makes a big difference.
Get yourself a spotting scope ?
Make sure is uses t2 of course.
You would need to spend big to get good IQ but cheap would let you get shots that are not possible with a lens. Just don't expect lens quality.
Actually someone with that combo reckons you will get more if you crop manually
the Sigma 10-20mm can be used in full frame mode, which is nice because it almost (but not quite) covers the full frame from 14mm onagain, you can get more out of the lens if you crop manually. (But you can force...
You can use it in crop mode. There is that feature on the 850.
I think you still get the same FOV as with an APSC sensor and there will be plenty of pixels to play with. Probably more that the 700.
If you want a true UWA for FF then it will cost you a lot.
Enable boot logging.

Sorry....If you cannot get into Windows thats not much help.
Go into safe mode and look through the event logs.
Live view can still be useful under certain circumstances but like everyone else you will probably end up using the viewfinder most of the time.
If live view is important to you then go for the a390 as it uses a better auto focus system during live view (phase vs the Canon's contrast detect)...
