Hi Tony, The settings in the spread sheet are just a generalisation and can be adjusted from. For me they are a starting point, as I have little knowledge of photography to date. I did learn from just putting in the settings, a bit about the camera controls. Richard

    Partially sighted

Hi, Blind in the left eye, due to car accident 27 years ago. Now need glasses to read. When I look at comparison photographs in the mags I really struggle to see any difference in them. I think this is due to weak right eye. Oh well Richard

    My Grandson

Thanks for the comments, Basically try better then. Focus was on the face which was what I wanted. Agree he could have been more central to the frame, with all the head and side in the frame. Thanks Richard

Deep Level Tunnel Graffiti - 1950's style

Yes this is what it was called. I used one in my first job in the 1970's, when I worked as an office boy with the British Steel Corp, Corby. These were all over the Tube side. Used to deliver internal mail. God what memories. Now long gone. Richard

    Graphics Tablet?

Got an aiptek 12000u off ebay the other day. Put in a best offer of £53.00, inc postage. Well pleased with it. Delivered next day. Had to download Vista drivers for it. Took about 5 mins to get going. Have not tried seriously in CS2 yet. Richard :D

    First Posting

Big thanks for the comments. Still new to all this, I did sharpen the image in CS2, but 'burn the sky', what does that mean? It was a very overcast day (4 days) and the sky was grey. Will have to research this more. Thanks Guys and Gals Richard
